Engine 14

Engine 14 is a 1992 Pierce Dash 1750 GPM Engine. Engine 14 is the company’s primary attack engine. It is first due on all types of fires in North Cornwall Township. The engine is equipped with a large cache of tools for fire suppression. Some of the equipment includes MSA Thermal Imaging Camera, Fire Finder Heat Gun, Nazy Nozzle, ProPak Foam Kit, 8 MSA SCBA, high rise packs, chimney kit, gas PPV fan, 24′ extension ladder, 13′ roof ladder, attic ladder, and A Multi-Rae 5-Gas meter. The engine carries 1000 gallons of water, 10 gallons of class A foam, along with 10 gallons of class B foam, a 10 KW Onan Generator, and 1800 feet of 5″ supply line. The engine is also equipped with over 3000 feet of attack line.

Rescue-Engine 14-1

Rescue-Engine 14-1 is a 1996 E-One Cyclone. It is equipped with 1000′ of 5″ hose and over 1000′ of attack hose. Engine 14-1 also carries 5 gallons of class A foam and 500 gallons of water. The unit is equipped with a 1500 GPM pump and 20 KW generator. This piece is first due in North Cornwall Township on all vehicle accidents, rescues, hazardous materials incidents, and miscellaneous calls. Some of the engine’s equipment compliment includes: hurst rescue tools, water rescue equipment, several hand tools, rope and rigging equipment, Junkyard Dog rescue struts, full compliment of cribbing, high pressure air bags, air tools, saws, forcible entry tools, ladders, AED, and 4-gas meter.

Tanker 14

Tanker 14 is outfitted as the township’s rural water supply piece. Area’s of North Cornwall Township that do not have the advantage of working fire hydrants are protected by this piece of apparatus, and the 3000 gallons of water it brings to the emergency scene. Tanker 14 is equipped to be an attack or supply piece if it is needed as it is equipped with a 1500 GPM pump and 500 feet of attack lines. Tanker 14 also carries a 4000 gallon Port-A-Tank, 24 ft. and 13 ft. ladders.

Utility 14

Utility 14 is a 2005 Ford F350 4×4. It features a five man cab and a large amount of equipment. Utility 14 is primarly used for response of additional manpower to emergency scenes as well as handles all medical assist calls. The Utility’s compliment of equipment includes: set of irons, K Tool, tool box, socket set, spanner wrenches and hydrant wrenches, AED, trauma kit, backboard, CPR board, forcible entry tools, absorbents, extinguishers, brush equipment, etc.

Gator 14

Gator 14 is a John Deere UTV Gator for use in rescue/firefighting over rugged terrain. It is equipped with Rescue and Climbing gear. It is transported by an open bed trailer that can be hooked up to Utility 14.

Special Unit 14

Special Unit 14 is a closed in trailer to be used for transporting Speedy Dry, booms, pumps, cones, Mass Decon Strike Force items, and all types of other extra equipment to an emergency scene. This unit can be hooked up to Utility 14.
